The basics
What The Sunday Club is and which room fits you.
What is The Sunday Club?
The Sunday Club is a series of facilitated strategy and storytelling workshops by Von Peach. They run in two ways: online sessions you can join from anywhere, and multi day team retreats in Gozo, Malta.
Link to this answerWhat is the difference between the virtual and in person workshops?
There are three ways in. An online seat is a short, focused live session on a single topic, bought directly and open to anyone. A single retreat seat puts you in a 3 day Gozo retreat alongside people from other teams, ideal if you want a holiday with a difference and real work done. A private team buyout books the whole retreat for one team, shaped entirely around your brief.
Link to this answerWho are the workshops for?
Founders, marketing and comms leads, executive teams and small senior groups who need to sharpen a pitch, a story or a strategy. Virtual sessions suit individuals too.
Link to this answerWho facilitates the sessions?
Sessions are facilitated by Emma Maria Calleja of Von Peach, a creative studio working on strategy, positioning, narrative messaging and pitch craft for founder and leadership teams.
Link to this answerWhat language do sessions run in?
Everything runs in English. Emma also works in Maltese and can hold side conversations in Italian if that helps a room relax.

One hour, live on Google Meet, from anywhere.
Can I buy a recording instead of joining live?
Yes. Every online workshop can be bought as a live seat or as a recording only. Recordings are emailed after the session runs.
Link to this answerWhere do the online sessions happen?
Live on Google Meet, in a small group with cameras on. The joining link arrives by email with your ticket.
Link to this answerWhat happens if I cannot make the live session?
Nothing is lost. Every live ticket includes the recording, sent to the same email address within two working days, along with the worksheets used on the day. If you know in advance, tell us and we will move you to the next date instead.
Link to this answerDo I need to prepare anything?
Bring one real thing you are working on: a pitch, a homepage, a funding deck, an internal announcement. We send a short prompt a few days before so you turn up with something to work on rather than a blank page.

Three days in Malta, for a team or as a single seat.
Is a Gozo retreat an educational holiday?
Yes. A single seat is an educational holiday for adults: three working days on storytelling, pitch craft or strategy, wrapped around swims, long lunches and Gozo itself. Seats are €2,400 a person.
Educational holidays in Gozo, the full formatLink to this answerCan I come alone, without a team?
You can. Selected editions open single seats in a small mixed room of up to 12 people from different companies. Most people arrive on their own and work their own project.
See the single seat educational holidayLink to this answerDo I need experience to join a learning holiday?
No. The room is facilitated live and the exercises start from whatever you bring, whether that is a first pitch or a tenth rewrite. Sessions run in English.
Link to this answerWhat is not included?
Accommodation is not included, so you book your own room and we point you to the places we like near the venue. Flights are not included either, and neither is travel insurance, which we ask everyone to arrange. Spa treatments and anything on a personal bar tab sit outside the price too. Everything else, transfers, all meals, the two day programme and the post trip toolkit, is in.
Link to this answerWhat is the minimum group size, and what if we are fewer than eight?
The room works best between eight and twelve people. Smaller teams still run: a private buyout for four to seven is possible at the same flat group price, since the villa and the days are held for you either way. If you are two or three, a single seat on an open date is usually the better value route.
Link to this answerCan you handle dietary requirements and accessibility needs?
Yes. Every meal is cooked for the group, so vegetarian, vegan, halal, coeliac and allergy needs are handled once we know them. Tell us about mobility, hearing or sight needs at enquiry stage: the villa and the workshop venue are mostly step free, and where they are not we adjust rooms, transfers and the timetable to suit.
Link to this answerWe would be working on something confidential. Will you sign an NDA?
Gladly. Send yours and we sign it before the first call, or use ours if that is easier. Nothing from the room is shared, quoted or used as a case study without written approval, and any material you send is deleted on request after the retreat.

How to reserve a place, and what happens after you write in.
How do I book?
Online seats are bought directly from the virtual page, from €45 a seat. A single seat on a Gozo retreat is €2,400 a person, requested through the form. For a private team retreat in Gozo it is a flat price per group, invoiced: send a short brief and we come back with dates and a quote.
Link to this answerHow do cancellations and date changes work?
A deposit of 30 percent confirms the dates and is refundable up to 60 days before arrival. Between 60 and 30 days we hold it as credit against another edition within twelve months. Inside 30 days the full fee stands, though you can send different people. One date change is free if you tell us more than 45 days out.
Link to this answerWhat actually happens after I send an enquiry?
The team reads every one and replies within one working day. First a short call, about 30 minutes, to understand the brief and who is in the room. Then a written proposal with dates, the agenda shape and the price. If it fits, a deposit invoice confirms the dates and we start building the agenda with you.
Link to this answerPayment and invoicing
Cards, invoices, VAT and purchase orders.
Can my company be invoiced instead of paying by card?
Yes, for two seats or more. Send us the company details and a purchase order reference if you need one, and we issue an invoice with 14 day terms. Seats are held from the moment the invoice goes out.
Link to this answerHow does invoicing work, and how is VAT handled?
A private retreat is a flat price per group, invoiced: deposit invoice to confirm the dates, balance invoice 30 days before arrival, payable by bank transfer. Invoices are issued from Malta. Maltese VAT is shown where it applies, and for VAT registered businesses in other EU member states we reverse charge against your VAT number. Purchase orders and supplier onboarding forms are no trouble.
