How the session runs
Before, live, after.
Before
Your seat and the link
Pay, and the confirmation lands straight away with the Google Meet link, a calendar file and a short prompt so you arrive with something real to work on.
Live
A small room, cameras on
One hour, live online with Emma Maria Calleja. Teaching, live examples and your own material worked on out loud, not a webinar you watch in silence.
After
The recording and the notes
The recording and the takeaways follow by email, so the thinking survives the week and you can hand it to the rest of your team.
Where this came from
It started in a sold out room in Berlin.
The life sciences industry is full of world changing ideas. Actually getting them across is another matter. That gap was the starting point for Shift Happens, a live workshop in storytelling hosted by Von Peach as an official bio:cap partner in Berlin on 10 June 2026.
A sold out room of biotech and life sciences professionals spent an hour confronting an uncomfortable truth: the way most companies approach communication is not working. Led by Von Peach co founder Emma Maria Calleja, the session covered the fundamentals of storytelling in corporate communications, from founder narratives to pitches that land, and everyone left with tools they could use the same week.
In a sector that often defaults to complexity, the appetite for clearer, more human communication is clearly there. The untapped power of storytelling is immense. Why are more organisations not using it?Emma Maria Calleja, Von Peach co founder
What the room said
The best workshop I have attended in a while.
As someone working in marketing, this workshop hit directly home.
Everything Emma said was the opposite to what we are currently doing. And we loved that.
